Warning, Possible Art Thief Lurking Around
So I got a message yesterday on my Pintrest board from someone complimenting my artwork and requesting an art trade. Always nice to hear and I thought I might go along with the trade since I have no big pieces underway at the moment. However, the level of persistence and atrocious grammar/spelling made me grow suspicious of this person. After a quick Google search, I have found that other people have been contacted by this person and some had done an art "trade." Apparently the person doesn't actually create any artwork for you and just steals the one you made. This person also posts other artwork that isn't theirs, claiming it is his/her own
i know i have not been very good about posting or drawing on time. i am working a drawing that i hope to be posting soon. So i will keep everyone up to date on that the best i can. i am hoping to get my new printer set up soon that has a scanner on it to upload better pictures and the ones that are around the house.
It's been a rough few months due to the holidays so my pictures were small or quick drawings. I'm hoping the since everything has died down some, both at work and in my personal life, I can sit down a draw with more time on my hands. But I am still happy with the drawings I came out with.
I am trying to get up and running with drawing and maybe writing my own comic, i hope. i want to try and post and least twice a mouth for right now to get started. i do use a sketch pad and photoshop with a (outdated) drawing tablet. i am trying out Gimp as well but it does not seem to like the tablet. i am not sure what will come of this but at the very least i hope my art will get better.
